The Cat's Paw

Konogoro is also home to a notorious thief — “The Cat’s Paw” — who is known for his daring and flawless robberies of wealthy merchants. The Cat’s Paw has only recently arrived in Konogoro, fleeing (so they say) aggressive law enforcement in the Empire.

Very few know the identity of the Cat’s Paw — this infamous burglar is in fact a young woman named Tsian, who has come to the islands seeking help. It seems the Cat’s Paw has put her “paw” into the wrong pot, and angry owners are breathing hard down her neck.

Tsian is skilled and tries to be ruthless, but she’s not really as cold-hearted as she needs to be. She’s in considerably more trouble than anyone guesses — there are sorcerers on her tail, and she’s looking for help. She lives a quiet life in Konogoro, asking around for mercenary types who might be able to solve her problems.
