NOTE: This island is NOT a canonical part of the DINO-PIRATES OF NINJA ISLAND setting. That means it doesn't show up on the main page of the setting. But it DOES show up in searches and in the "Assigned-To" lists for components. If you think this island SHOULD be canonical, please contact the setting administrators and maybe they'll agree with you.
Summary
A vine-and-jungle-covered isle, more of a large rock (a la Gibraltar) jutting from the sea than an actual island. Far-flung from the regular sea-courses plied by the junks and galleons, it lies just off the edge of the charted isles of the archipelago. Uninhabited (by man) and unexplored, the only mention of Karthos in any record is an century-old account taken from a raving mad sailor just before he died, the sole survivor of a shipwreck upon the isle, found on a raft he fashioned from wreckage to escape the island’s horrors.
It is believed that there are man-eating flying monkeys on Karthos. More details to follow.
